Sniffle, hack, koff, koff!!

Alas and thrice woe with a side salad and chips of woe... I am not returned from Klondyke, but I am down with the dreaded Lurgi, also known as Fresher's Flu. But once I have banished it finally from my kingdom.... I shall return!

May you all keep warm and well and away from the cold and the wet. It's times like this I wish I was in Australia now!

Be safe and well.... The Griffin

It would probably be best to stay right where you are!

Feel better

I am staying tucked up in bed, sniffling and coughing until it dawns on me that I need food. Only then do I stir from my lair to er, cook!

You need tlc, a good book and tomato and garlic soup.

I can thoroughly recommend Reckless by Cornelia Funke as the good book, I would send the soup through the post but it makes the envelopes soggy.

Get well soon

Well now Griffin...if you were in this neck of the Australian woods you'd see cold cold cold rain...so the best bet is simply to imagine...

here, a get-thee-well thingy

feeling better

sand buckets hugs smiles
smiles by the miles and some more
stir and get thee well!

Thanks Charlotte, have been going through a lot of good soup recently and there's more to come. Someone is going to have to invent a soup envelope that's soup-dragon proof.

Will look for the book in the library, haven't yet read Cornelia Funke tho' I keep meaning to.

Madame, another Aussie told me the same thing... what a disappointing springtime. Keep warm and well and I hope the summer is better. Thanks for the charm, that should help.
